GREENVILLE, S.C. – June 17, 2019 – Kimura, Inc., a subsidiary of global logistics leader and innovator Kimura Unity in Japan, today announced plans to expand its existing Greenville County, South Carolina operations. The company’s latest expansion will bring $4 million in capital investment and is projected to add 25 new jobs to the area
“It is the policy of Kimura, Inc. to partner with our customers and team members to provide lean material flow solutions from Piedmont, South Carolina,” said Kimura, Inc. President and COO Yoshihito Matsui.
Kimura, Inc.’s mission is to provide cutting-edge logistics capabilities, superior customer service and rapid delivery to support manufacturing customers in a variety of industries including automotive, pharmaceutical, consumer goods and more.

Located at 501 Matrix Parkway in Piedmont, S.C., the company will be expanding its operations by an additional 64,000 square feet, along with adding 100 transport vehicle parking spaces.

Hiring for the new positions is expected to begin in the second half of 2019.
