Two major hospitals – Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center (GHS) and Bon Secours St. Francis Health System – offer high-level medical care, with services such as a level-one trauma center and cancer centers. In addition to these hospitals, Greenville is also home to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, as well as a number of other healthcare groups. It has also improved its services through uses of the latest technology. Bon Secours St. Francis Health System includes St. Francis Hospital, St. Francis Women's & Family Hospital, St. Francis HomeCare, St. Francis Hospice, St. Francis Optimum Health Network, and the St. Francis Foundation.
Shriner’s Children’s HospitalShriner’s Children’s Hospital provides free care to patients under 18 experiencing orthopedic problems. In addition to therapy, the county school system provides classes for its patients. |
