GADC Video Newsletter Spring Quarter 2016

This spring has advanced Greenville County and surrounding upstate South Carolina. Here’s the GADC’s manufacturing, industrialization and expansion news.

Proper Polymers, a strategic supplier to large Tier 1 integrators, is one of the many that have announced intent to establish operations in Greenville County. Another establishment, Total Quality Logistics (TQL), a third-party logistics provider, is rooting logistics and sales operations in Greenville, creating an expected 75 new jobs over the next three years. Ster Assure, a company that specializes in medical waste collection, also joins Greenville County expecting to create 25 new jobs in Greenville over the next five years.

As well as these new establishments, expansions are also frequent. One of which, Fitesa Simpsonville, Inc., a global leader and innovator in the design and manufacture of non-woven fabric solutions for the global hygiene market, will further expand its existing facility in Greenville County to increase production capacity expecting to create an additional 38 jobs over the next five years. Ushers Machine and Tool Co., Inc. is expanding its existing operations in Greenville County. The project will bring approximately $12.5 million in investment and create 50 new jobs in the Upstate. The most recent expansion this spring, Roy Metal Finishing, is expanding its current operations in Greenville County by building a second facility.
